Node-RED nodes for OL Remote Print
This OL Remote Print package contains nodes for communicating with the OL Remote Print Server.
Features
- query the OL Remote Print Server for the available jobs
- retrieve information of a specific job
- download the PostScript data of a job
- set the status of a job
- delete the PostScript data and information of a job
Installation
Use the Manage Palette option from the Node-RED menu, or run the following command in your Node-RED user directory (typically ~/.node-red):
npm install @objectif-lune/node-red-contrib-ol-remote-print
You must have OL Remote Print Server installed on a server that can be reached from the one where Node-RED is installed, otherwise you won't be able to interact with it.
Usage
The nodes can be used to interact with the OL Remote Print Server: get information on the jobs present on the server, change their status and download or delete job data.
Note that these nodes require you to specify a Configuration node, which you set up once (from inside any of the OL Remote Print nodes) and re-use across all nodes.
A word of caution
This package is part of the OL Connect Automate stack. It is intended for use by current users of OL Connect who want to experiment with automating server operations through Node-RED. The OL Connect Automate stack is a technology preview.

At this early stage, the OL Connect Automate stack is not supported through the OL Care program. Feel free to visit the OL Connect Automate stack forum to post questions, comments and suggestions.
