A Node-RED library to integrate Edgematrix EdgeAI Station Service APIs

Connect Node-RED flows to Edgematrix EdgeAI Station. Manage devices, AI processors and video pipelines, receive inference results, and work with snapshots, recordings and alarms.
Requirements
- An Edgematrix EdgeAI Station with access to its services.
- Node-RED 4.0 or later.
- Node.js 20 or later.
Installation
In the Node-RED editor, open Manage palette > Install and search for
@edgematrix/node-red-contrib-eais.
Alternatively, run this command in your Node-RED user directory (usually
~/.node-red), then restart Node-RED:
npm install @edgematrix/node-red-contrib-eais
Install only one EAIS package variant in a Node-RED instance. The legacy
@edge-ai/node-red-contrib-eais package registers the same node types and must
not be installed alongside this package.
Connect to a station
- Add an EAIS node to your flow and open its editor.
- Create an EAIS server configuration.
- Select Local Device when Node-RED runs inside the EdgeAI Station environment. This option is available only when that environment is detected. Otherwise, select Remote Device and enter the station URL, Service Key ID and Service Key Secret.
- Deploy the flow and check the node's connection status.
Credentials are stored using Node-RED's credential storage. Do not put service key secrets in flow messages or exported examples.

Select a node in the editor and open its Help panel for supported commands, configuration fields and message formats. Sample flows are available from the Node-RED Import > Examples menu.
